Art every day month ~ day 4 : october block for calendar quilt

I have been working on a scrap calendar quilt since the beginning of the year. It is called a calendar quilt because each block is a month and has strips representing each day for that month. The photo below shows the blocks from January to October, with October only having a few days on that picture. I decided early on to give each month a colour theme. Some months are more obvious than others, for example the February one is pink and red for Valentine's Day, March is green for St Patrick's Day...and I did a beach and ocean theme for July.

I am now finished the month of October block:

I haven't decided exactly how I will place all 12 blocks once I am finished...
