PEI Wildflowers :: Orange

These orange wildflowers caught my eye while we were on a trail in Cavendish. The clusters of orange flowers really stood out in the middle of the green field. They are called Devil's Paintbrush or Orange Hawkweed. I thought the shape of the petals were interesting too. 


The field guide says they are found all over the province.

    They are so pretty! We found them in Maine but have yet to spot them here. Thanks for the ID!
