Winter at the Beach :: Rocks

Rocks, pebbles, or how I always think of them "les cailloux". The beaches at the PEI National Park were filled with rocks spread apart. On closer look, I noticed that many were propped up on tiny mounds of sand. The wind had shaped these little mounds perfectly.

Nature is magical, isn't?

Which photo is your favourite? Mine is the second one!

  2. I think I like photo #3 the best. It reminds me of that scene from Pirates of the Caribbean (#2? #3? At World's End, anyway) with all the rock crabs.

I'm enjoying this series! Shared on Facebook.

  4. I like the last one. :)

Loved this series of posts Alex...and the fact that you were out there in the VERY cold weather to experience your winter beach. I would love to have you enter this in the OHC Carnival and feature one of the photos.
