We met several homeschool families yesterday. The plan was to go for a hike on a wooded trail. Spring hasn't yet completely arrive on the island, and the trail was still covered with ice. We had to turn back as the walking became a bit unsafe. Instead the children ran around in the field. It was a great outing, nice to meet up with friends and we all agreed we will come back once spring is in full bloom!
I thought the area was beautiful, even if it still looks like winter...
