Make & Listen :: Number Sixteen :: Lots!

I had been including the projects I worked on in my post title but this past week, there were many so "lots" describes it better!

My husband took a few days off work and I found more time to work on my summer projects. We also went exploring a little more of our beautiful island so check the rest of my blog for related posts.

I completed two more pages in my Project Life album and now will need to print more photos. The lighthouse is in Souris, on the East coast of the island and has a sea glass exhibit. The March of the Crows last year was a ton of fun to participate in and hopefully we will do it again this year.

I continued to work on my Summer Sampler from the Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. I love the lantern!

I also picked up the Wild Olive Summer Stitching again. The embroidery is adorable. That bathing suit is my favourite so far, the sun too. I need to finish making all the blue hexagons and then I will start putting together the first few rows.

The doodle a day is almost finished, but I noticed on Studio Ann's blog that there will be an August one. I think I will keep doing it, even if I tend to get behind and do two or three days at a time. I still enjoy it.

We purchased an ice cream maker this week. I have wanted one for years! We checked out the recipes in the booklet that came with it and chose to make the fresh strawberry ice cream first. I also started a board on Pinterest with mouth watering recipes. This is going to be so yummy and fun.

The strawberry ice cream is delicious! I doubt we will ever buy ice cream in the store again. I much prefer homemade any day and knowing exactly what goes in our food.

I am linking to Simple Things Notebook for the weekly Make & Listen.
