Make & Listen :: Number Thirteen

It has been almost one month since my last Make & Listen post. These last few weeks have been busy with end of school year things, my in-laws visiting, and getting my two oldest for their army cadet camps. Not a whole lot of time left over for making and blogging about it, but I did manage to work on a few little projects.

I brought my Wild Olive Summer Stitching to our homeschool picnic and worked on my hexagons while chatting. I need to catch up on the embroidery blocks.

I worked a little bit on my Summer Sampler from the Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery while my in-laws were visiting. We watched several episodes from Human Planet. They loved it so much that they ordered their own copy. It is an amazing documentary.

While we were out shopping with my mother-in-law, I noticed that Michael's now carried some Project Life products. I was so happy to see these here! My husband remembered how much I loved scrapbooking and offered to get me a start up kit. I have been looking at Project Life for a while and thought it would be a lot of fun to work on. I was into "simple" scrapbooking, I always preferred to showcase my photos along with some journaling. I never got into the elaborate designs. Project Life is a perfect fit for me! I have done five pages already and love it. I decided to document our adventures on the island, along with homeschooling and every day life stuff.

While making, I have listened to the usual sounds in my home...kids playing and talking, video games, the radio...

I am linking to Simple Things Notebook for Dawn's weekly feature.
