If you follow me on instagram, you would have seen last weekend a series of photos of chickens, goats, kittens, dogs, and nature in general. We spent four days "house and barn" sitting for our friends. They live just outside Charlottetown.
I have been mentioning our stay in my last two blog posts and hinting on how many photos I took. I took photos with my iPad and my Canon Rebel T3i. I had so much fun playing with both. It was also wonderful to see my children interacting with the animals and just enjoying the fresh air and the open space....freedom!
I will probably share more photos in later posts, especially the ones from the foggy frosty morning, but for now here are some of my favourites.
The chickens and two goats were fun to watch. They reminded me of my grandparents' chickens a lot. I spent many summers helping them take care of their chickens and have great memories of those times. Andre did all the care of chickens and goats this past weekend. He really seemed to be enjoying himself too.
What fun! I love the third chicken...such beautiful feathers! I grew up on a hobby farm on ON, with goats, chickens now and then, a dog, some cats. Good memories.
