On Prince Edward Island, we see foxes regularly. Even in Charlottetown, we often see them wandering around, crossing streets, watching at the edges of the bypass.
As my oldest daughter headed to school last Thursday morning, one fox was walking along the road in front of our house. I grabbed my camera as quickly as I could. These were taken from inside our house as I was still in my pajamas and it was bitterly cold outside (around -25 celsius with the windchill!).
The University has a webpage set up for the community to report urban fox sightings. I try to log ours each time.
Amazing photos! They are beautiful animals.
ReplyDeleteFunny that you mention fox sightings all the time on PEI: all the years I've lived here in NS I've never see a wild fox but the one time I've been to the Island to shoot a wedding there were two little ones playing on the side of the road!
ReplyDeleteAs for that cold that you speak of, totally feeling it! ;)
Gorgeous photos!
