Be Inspired ~ Documented Life Project

This week inspired me! I have always been curious about mixed media and the journal pages I see others make with many layers. 

I prefer simpler pages, but I thought I would give this style a try since the prompt this week for the Documented Life Project was:

"Open your Pinterest board and be inspired."

I found one I liked. It was an etsy listing from "As you wish designs" but it is no longer available. Here is the original from my Journal Inspiration Pinterest board. 

I copied a lot of it, because I liked it just the way it was. I found an old Simplicity pattern I knew I wouldn't use and put it as the background. I added some washi tape and some stamps too, then painted over all that with yellow and green. I drew the girl then painted her. Finally, I added the quote. This was beyond fun!  

And there she is!
