Last month, I made a few mini placemats. I sent some in the mail, one was a birthday gift, and another for me. I love making these little quilts.
Celeste also made a mini placemat for her pen pal (if you are reading this Eva, don't show your daughter!). She made it all by herself, minus the binding. I love her wavy quilting!
These mini placemats are a good size for a mug or tea cup and a small snack or fruit. Bigger than a coaster, but smaller than a traditional placemat. We use them a lot, especially on the coffee table or at the computer desk.
I am trying to catch up on all the making that has been happening around here lately, and linking to the weekly Make & Listen posts hosted by Dawn at Simple Things Notebook.
