Celeste and I discovered Calef Brown's whimsical poetry a couple of years ago and loved his funny poetry and art. We are so happy to read more of his work.
Hypnotize a Tiger is a collection of poems, divided into 9 sections, each better than the last, from "The Critterverse" to "Poems of a Particular Vehicular Nature" to Miscellaneous Silliness"!
The poems are often silly and always full of imagination. They are so much fun to read aloud. The made up words and rhyming are our favourites!
The little extras at the bottom of some of the poems add to the fun! We love finding and reading these.
Finally, the Q & A with Calef Brown at the end of the book is not to be missed! The poet answers personal questions, with a poetic flair!
